For some people this happens in the work setting. For others it happens in their personal relationships. As you are reading this, you- like most Americans- are likely thinking this is a reference to something happening emotional or psychological to a woman and this certainly can be the case. However, there is a growing incidence of the emotional "downsizing" of men by women.
